John M. DeBoer

John M. DeBoer received his license to practice law in the State of Texas in 2009.  Mr. DeBoer's practice emphasizes patent prosecution in the field of chemical engineering and oilfield service technologies, which includes drafting and prosecution of patent applications (utility, provisional, and design).  Mr. DeBoer has also provided patentability search and opinions, performed infringement analysis, trademark searches, and successfully prosecuted trademark (TX) applications.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. DeBoer was a Patent Agent with Osha Liang, LLP, and a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Mr. DeBoer has also worked in the chemical and petroleum industry, which includes experience with upstream and downstream operations.

Mr. DeBoer served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force during Operation's Desert Shield and Desert Storm, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1995.
