Terry L. McCutcheon

Terry L. McCutcheon is the Administrative Director of the Patent Department. Ms. McCutcheon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology from Louisiana State University and received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.

Ms. McCutcheon was licensed to practice in the State of Texas in 2003. Her patent, copyright, and trademark experience includes drafting and prosecution of applications for patent, patentability searches and opinions, patent licensing, copyright applications, and trademark searches and applications.

In 1991, Ms. McCutcheon joined The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center serving in healthcare administration. She served as assistant vice president, in the office of the executive vice president, with management responsibilities in business development, technology transfer and commercialization, marketing, legal services, financial services, government affairs and compliance, information systems, and facilities.

Her professional associations include: State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and American Society of Medical Technologists.
